Privacy and security

Manage your password, two-factor authentication, and how Surbee uses your data.

Open Settings, then the Privacy tab, to manage account security and how your data is used. Every toggle on this page saves as soon as you change it.

Security

  • Change password. Fill in the password fields and click Update password. A new password needs at least 12 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character.
  • Two-factor authentication. Adds a second step when you sign in, using either an authenticator app or a code sent to your email. When it is on, you will see a Protected label next to it.

For setup steps and what to do if you lose your second factor, see Two-factor authentication.

Privacy

  • Share anonymous analytics. Lets Surbee collect anonymous usage data to improve the product. On by default.
  • Marketing communications. Controls emails about new features and updates. Turning it off unsubscribes you from those emails. Account and billing emails still arrive.
  • Search engine indexing. When on, search engines may index your published surveys. Turn it off and your surveys tell search engines not to list them. This setting covers every survey on your account. On by default.

Your data

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or the deletion of your account and everything in it. Email [email protected] from your account address and say what you need. Our privacy policy lists your rights in full.
