Credits

How many credits each plan includes, what spends them, and when they reset.

Credits pay for Surbee's AI work, such as generating surveys and chatting about your data. Every plan includes a monthly allowance.

Surbee checks your balance before it starts. If you do not have enough credits for an action, it will not run, and nothing is taken.

Checking your balance

  • Account menu. Open your account menu in the sidebar. The Credits bar shows what you have left out of your monthly allowance, with a line such as "12 days until credits reset." On Enterprise it reads "Unlimited credits on Enterprise plan."
  • Billing tab. Under Settings, then Billing, your plan shows the exact date your credits reset, and the Credits used tile shows how many you have spent over the period you pick.

When credits reset

  • Unused credits do not carry over. At each reset your balance is replaced with your plan's full monthly allowance. Whatever was left is not added on top.
  • Free plan. Credits reset on the 1st of every month.
  • Pro and Max. Credits reset on your billing date. On a monthly plan, the renewal and the reset are the same event: when the renewal is paid, your balance is set to the full allowance (2,000 on Pro, 6,000 on Max). On an annual plan, credits reset every month on the same day of the month your plan started.
  • Failed renewal. If a renewal payment does not go through, your monthly credits drop to 0 until it is paid. Update your card from the Billing tab to get them back.

Bonus credits from invitations

Open the account menu and choose Invite to get credits. You and each friend who joins through your link get 25 credits. Bonus credits are added to your current balance, so they follow the same reset rules as the rest. See Invite friends for credits.

API credits are separate

Credits for the developer API and the Cipher SDK are a separate, prepaid balance. You buy them in the platform console, they never expire, and your plan's monthly credits cannot be spent on API requests. See Developer API and Cipher SDK.
