Founding AI Engineer

Surbee is pre-seed, and this is a founding role. You will own the AI that makes the product work: survey generation, plain-English analytics, and the Cipher engine that screens every response for fraud. You will work directly with the founders, ship to production every week, and shape the AI stack from the ground up. High ownership, founding equity, based in Dubai. What you'll do: • Build and improve the models behind survey generation and analytics • Own the Cipher pipeline for bot, VPN, and AI-text detection • Set up evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails for models in production • Choose providers and architecture, and keep inference fast and affordable What we're looking for: • Strong applied ML or NLP experience, ideally shipped to production • Comfort across Python and TypeScript, with a bias toward shipping • You move fast, own outcomes, and thrive without a playbook • Based in the UAE or willing to relocate
