Profile & preferences
Set your name, role, conversation tone, and the AI models Surbee offers.
Open Settings, then General to control how Surbee represents you and how it talks to you. Changes save as you make them.
Your identity
- Full name. Your display name across Surbee — shown on shared surveys and to teammates.
- What should Surbee call you? A shorter name used inside conversations. Leave it blank to use your full name.
- What best describes your work? Helps Surbee tailor question suggestions and survey templates to your role.
How Surbee talks to you
- Conversation tone. Choose how Surbee phrases its replies, from concise and direct to more explanatory.
- Personal preferences. Free-form custom instructions that Surbee considers in every response — for example, "always suggest a Likert scale for satisfaction questions" or "keep surveys under 10 questions."
Preferences are global
Custom instructions apply to every chat and survey you create, not just the current one. Keep them general; put one-off requests in the chat itself.
AI models
Under AI Models you can toggle which models appear in your model selector. Hiding a model only removes it from your picker — it doesn't change anything for your teammates.
Appearance
Pick Light, Dark, or System under Appearance. System follows your operating system setting and switches automatically.
Notifications
Turn on Task completion notifications to get an alert when Surbee finishes a long-running task, such as generating a large survey or scoring a batch of responses.
