Free Pro for students
Verify your school email to get three months of Surbee Pro free, and what happens when the three months end.
Students can get three months of Surbee Pro free by verifying a school email address. No card is needed.
How to claim it
- Go to surbee.dev/students.
- Enter your Full name, your University / school and your Student email, then click Verify.
- Check your inbox for the verification link and open it on the same device you used to apply. The link expires shortly, so open it soon.
- Surbee confirms your email and switches on Pro for three months. Click Go to your dashboard to start.
If Surbee is not yet open to everyone, the students page takes your school email for the waitlist instead, and we send your verification link when the offer opens.
Which email addresses qualify
Use the email address your school or university gave you. Surbee accepts
academic domains such as .edu, .ac.uk, .edu.au and other country
versions of .edu and .ac. Personal addresses (such as Gmail or Outlook)
and throwaway addresses are not accepted.
If your institution uses a domain Surbee does not recognise, contact support and we can look at adding it.
Common messages
- "Please use your school-issued email": the address is not on an academic domain. Try your university address.
- "We already sent a link to that email. Check your inbox.": a link is on its way. Check your spam folder before trying again.
- "This student email has already claimed the offer.": each student email can claim the offer once.
- "We couldn't find your application": start again from the students page and open the newest link we email you.
- "Open the link from your email": open the link on the same device and browser you used to apply.
- "Already activated": the offer has already been redeemed on your account.
If you already pay for Surbee
If you are already on a paid plan, Surbee confirms your student status and leaves your plan exactly as it is. The offer does not replace or change a paid subscription.
When the three months end
The trial ends three months after you verify. Surbee does not charge you, because no card was taken. Your account moves to the free plan, with the free plan's monthly credits and limits.
Your surveys and responses stay in your account. If you need Pro features after the trial, you can upgrade at any time from Settings, then Billing. If you upgrade to a paid plan during the trial, your paid plan simply carries on when the trial ends.
The offer can be claimed once per person and once per student email.
